 Mr. Paul is a music educator, music theory tutor, and     

 performing musician. He teaches general music and 4th and 

 5th strings at Weston Intermediate School. He also teaches 

 6th grade strings at Weston Middle School.

 His training includes work with the Western Australia Opera

Company in Perth, Australia, The Fairfield Orchestra, The

Orchestra of the Old Fairfield Academy, and the American

Classical Orchestra.

His formal education began at the University of Connecticut (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music,

Bachelor of Science in Business Management), progressed to the University of Bridgeport

(Masters of Science in Education), with post-graduate work at The Hartt School of Music

where he received his Kodaly music education certificate.  In the summer of 2012

he graduated from Central Connecticut State University with his 6th Year Masters in Music

Education degree.

Mr. Paul's ensembles have performed at Carnegie Hall and twice in a workshop

and concert with the vocal ensemble Chanticleer. In 2014, Mr. Paul was chairman of the

Vocal Jazz ensemble of the Connecticut Music Educators Association Western Region. In

2016 he was a violin coach with The Fairfield County Summer Summer String Orchestra. Mr.

Paul is a Board member of the Connecticut American String Teachers Association and the

advisory board of Music on the Hill in Weston.

He and his wife reside in a 1734 saltbox with their English springer on the town green in a

quaint New England town.
